Working principle

The structure and principle of FG spiral classifier are approximately the same as the FC screw classifier. The overflow weir of FG spiral classifier is higher than the bearing center of the lower spiral shaft, but lower than the upper margin of the overflow spiral, it has a certain settlement area, so it is suitable for coarse grain washing. While the whole spiral of the fc-spiral classifier is immersed in the liquid surface of the settlement zone, the settlement area has a large area and depth, so it is suitable for fine cleaning sand.
